Kelly is a true perfectionist & has a passion for the beauty industry. With her ability to find just the right cuts and color, Kelly consistently makes her clients look and feel beautiful. Her warm, easy-going personality will make you feel welcome the second you meet her. After graduating in 2006 from Joseph Steel School of Cosmetology, Kelly began working her magic on CT's shoreline. Kelly always wanted to have a salon of her own and in 2011 she finally decided to make the jump, opening Salon 154.

Over the last 9 years, Kelly has built a true team of professionals & together they keep their skills current through ongoing education. Kelly loves to watch hair styling forums and is obsessed with online education. Some of her educational attainments are from Manardi classes, the Redken Exchange, TONI&GUY Academy, and hands-on classes in Rhode Island, NYC and New Hampshire. Continuing her education, Kelly became certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment, Chi Infra straightening system, Keratherapy Keratin, Brazilian Blow-Out Treatments and a number of advanced color courses.  

Outside of work, Kelly is very close with her family. She loves spending quality time with her son, Jacob. Their favorite things to do together include going to the beach as much as possible and playing & walking their two dogs, Minnie & Gizzy. Kelly is an avid reader, crafter, and a loves baking for others, especially the cleints of Salon 154!

        A native of Deep River, Karen has been a hairdresser for 20+ years. Continuing education and keeping up with the latest trends are of high priority to her and it shows in her work. From classic looks to edgy styles, Karen always strives to create a look that is just right for each individual.  Altering a haircut into something new or creating a fresh color for the season are two of Karen's favorites. She is always up for a challenge!  Her inviting personality and confidence in her work have kept her clientele happy and loyal and for this she is very grateful. 

 Outside of work Karen has a passion for up cycling furniture and home décor.  Her proudest accomplishments are her 3 young daughters...Twins that are 12 and a 10 year old. Much of her time is spent on soccer and softball fields, musicals, concerts, and school activities. Being a mom is her favorite! 

       Growing up with a Grandmother in the beauty industry, Amy has always wanted to be a stylist since a very young age. As a kid, she loved going to her Grandma's salon in Boston as much as she could. Since graduating from Boston cosmetology school in 1990, Amy became certified and has exclusive training Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment. Happy clients also rave about her blow-dry and styling techniques for both straight and curly hair types.  Always keeping up with the latest techniques and hair trends as they appear on the fashion, Amy loves anything beauty related. Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her husband, two beautiful children and Bernese Mountain Dog, Nora. She loves anything baseball, including watching her son play, and is also a huge red sox fan. With a lifelong passion for hair & beauty and a love of working with people, Amy's clients feel completely at ease, a she works her magic. 

           Kaitlyn followed in her moms foot steps with a passion for the beauty industry. In 2009, she graduated from Joseph School of Cosmetology. She began her career with Salon 154, after a lifetime friendship since preschool with owner, Kelly. Continuing her pursuit in the beauty industry she decided to further her knowledge and became certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment.  Kaitlyn is known for her precision and her ability to create anything from extremely sophisticated to the more cutting edge styles. She thrives at creating new hair colors and enjoys giving a sharp men's cut. Outside of work, Kaitlyn loves spending time with her family, including her daughters who are 4 and 6 years old, and her Doxie Poo. Mastering the effect of combining cut & color harmoniously together, Kaitlyn's clients never leave disappointed.

Natalia and her family moved to Connecicut after Hurricane Katrina. Talia always loved getting her hair done with Kelly since becoming a client of hers in the 7th grade, but it wasn't until her early years of high school that she really began dreaming of pursuing cosmetology as her career. Talia graduated from Teach Academy and joined our team in 2013 , after first interning with us as a senior in high school.  She loves attending hands-on classes! Her educational attainments are in New Hampshire, New York, and Rhode Island seminars, TONI&GUY and the Redken Exchange. She is also certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment and excels at cutting long bobs with interior layers and flat-iron styling. Her styles are easy to maintain, and they grow out beautifully. Outside of work, Talia loves spending time with her kitties, traveling, cooking and trying new exotic foods! Young & very motivated, her bubbly personality helps clients feel better with every visit!
